Mason leads Maelstrom Web Services with a performance-first, SEO-centered approach. He partners closely with clients from discovery to launch, translating business goals into clean information architecture, purposeful design, and reliable code. Every build favors fast load times, accessible HTML, and maintainable systems—so sites rank well and convert consistently.

Hands-on across the stack, Mason works in Eleventy (11ty), Nunjucks, and Tailwind CSS, deploying to modern CDNs with analytics and event tracking dialed in. He’s meticulous about internal linking, schema, and local SEO structures (region → state → city), and he enforces sensible budgets for page weight, LCP, and Core Web Vitals. Beyond code, he often writes on-brand copy, creates graphics, and plans migrations and automations to keep delivery smooth.

Mason’s process is simple and rigorous: clarify objectives, map content, design in systems, build for speed, and test like a skeptic. Clients appreciate the blend of strategic guidance and exacting execution—moving quickly without sacrificing detail.
